Swine Virus Warning!

Swine Virus yang berasal dari babi, konon kata berita yang beredar, menyebar demikian cepat dari Meksiko ke negara2 tetangga dan dunia, dan virus ini punya kemapuan bertransformasi yang juga cepat. Beberapa hari yang lalu, di-peringatkan sensei mengenai Swine virus ini, hari ini, Kepala Research Center, Yamaoka Koshun Sensei ngirim imel to all center:

Dear all

The WHO (world Health Organization) has raised the level of influenza
pandemic alert from 4 to 5 this morning. According to the warning Nagoya
university advised all the faculty staffs and students to take sufficient
precaution against possible infection. The guideline is announced in the
Nagoya university website. Please read carefully the announcement and follow
the instruction.

To All Faculty and Staff Members: Urgent Notice regarding Swine Influenza

Beginning in Mexico and the United States, a new respiratory disease, Swine Influenza has been appearing in some countries. Yesterday, the World Health Organization (WHO) has raised the level of influenza pandemic alert to phase 4 and it is taking precautions to prevent the outbreak of this influenza epidemic.

The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare in Japan is releasing the latest information of this disease and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is releasing the latest information on traveling overseas.

Nagoya University is urging all faculty and staff members to understand the seriousness of the disease and its consequences. Therefore, please keep the following precautions and act accordingly. The University will try its best effort to keep updated with the latest information and the tendency of the outbreak of the disease.

  1. Travelling Overseas
    Please reschedule or cancel your plan to go to the following countries*1*2. Please also notify your students to reschedule or cancel their trips overseas. Even if you have to travel overseas (including personal matters) to countries not included below, please notify the personnel division of your department in advance.
    1. Countries where there is a swine influenza outbreak in humans (as of April 28, 12:00)
      Mexico, the United States of America, Canada, the United Kingdom and Spain
    2. Suspected Countries where there is a swine influenza outbreak in humans (as of April 28, 12:00)
      France, New Zealand, Israel, Brazil Columbia, Australia, Belgium and Korea
    Please check the following websites regularly to get the latest information on endemic areas.
  2. For Those Returning / Coming to Japan from Epidemic Areas
    Those who have returned / come to Japan from epidemic areas must refrain from going to your workplace and must stay at home for 10 days upon returning or arrival. For those who have returned or arrived in Japan within 10 days before April 28 please contact the personnel division of your department to report your health condition as soon as possible. If you notice a sign of influenza such as fever and coughing, please be sure to get examined at a public health center (hokenjo) immediately. After that, please go to the designated medical institution for the disease.
  3. To Those Staying Abroad
    Please follow the information / instructions by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the local Japanese embassy, and protect yourself from the disease.

salah satu prevensinya katanya: pake masker. mungkin sm dengan prevensi thd influenza ya?

nah, kl untuk bayi yang maskernya ditarik2 pake main2, gimana ya prevensinya?
